It was Nadine K. She joined her husband in 2014 to join the ranks of ISIS in Syria, before moving to Mosul, Iraq, the following year.


The couple lived in a stolen house, where they stored weapons and explosives and hosted single ISIS terrorists before their marriage.

As of spring 2016, Nadine K., along with her husband, a doctor in the service of ISIS, made a Yazidi woman their slave.

Last September, the federal prosecution issued an indictment against Nadine K. In it, it was stated that “the husband was constantly raping and beating the woman, and Nadine K. knew about that German,” explaining that the latter “was observing the captive herself so that she would not be able to escape.”

Then the couple and the captive moved to Syria at the end of 2016 and stayed there until early March 2019, when the Yazidis managed to regain their freedom, following the defeat ofOrganization At the hands of the Syrian Democratic Forces, whose backbone is the Kurdish fighters.

Nadine K. was detained. In a camp for Kurdish forces in northeastern Syria, before being transferred to Germany in March 2022.

In August 2014, ISIS invaded Mount Sinjar in northern Iraq, where the majority of the Kurdish-speaking Yazidi minority live, who were killed and persecuted by ISIS during its control of the region between 2014 and 2017. The organization’s terrorists killed thousands of the members of this minority, took its women captive, and recruited its children.
